A rectangular hardcover notebook with rounded corners, slightly taller than wide and of moderate thickness. A flat red elastic band runs vertically down the right side of the front cover, and a small elastic pen loop protrudes from the right edge. Multicolored index tabs step down the fore-edge, distinguishing it from plain notebooks.
